WHAT WILL MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS BE USED FOR?

The UKNDA is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT Organisation.

ALL monies raised from individual and corporate subscriptions and donations and legacies will be used to pay for:

Maintaining and expanding the UKNDA in order to achieve its purpose. This would include:

  • The costs of building, maintaining and expanding this website.  
  • UKNDA PR 'events' 
  • Printing & Postage 
  • Bank charges
  • Travel costs & associated expenses
  • Audits
  • Publicity - PR/Media consultants 
  • Contingency Fund
  • AGM costs - room hire.
  • Executive staff expenses and token Honoraria (see below)

Staff remuneration: Currently full and part time executive staff of the UKNDA (CEO, Mem. Sec., PRO, Treasurer, & two secretarial assistants) are reimbursed expenses relating directly to their work for the UKNDA and (excluding the Treasurer, at his request) receive a token monthly honorarium of £100. When the UKNDA workload requires it and financial resources permit, the intention is to introduce a salary scheme.

UKNDA Office/HQ. Until the UKNDA has grown much larger and sufficient funds are available, the UKNDA will operate from a ‘virtual Headquarters’ - i.e. operated from the homes of the UKNDA executive staff using their own PCs and printing facilities. When the size and complexity of the UKNDA's organisation and workload seems to require it, and when funds are available, the need to acquire a central HQ office will be reviewed.
